At 27, our first leg of rapid, massive evangelization for family renewal is starting to take roots.
13 years ago, March 17, 2002 was the birth of the community’s second leg of bringing glad tidings to the poor (see photo below at Castle Hill RSL). At 13 it is shifting gear from being a child to becoming the most vibrant of age, youthful teens. ANCOP became one of CFC’s expression of fullness and renewal, faith in action.
At 13, we are grateful for the many elders who stood by to form this pillar. We honour the many YFC’s and SFC’s then, now married and have become great family men who were part of the birth and growth of ANCOP. We also honour the many donors and partners in and out of the CFC global family who worked
with us to be the hands that feed, the bigger brothers and sisters to so many. At 13 we also have heard many success stories of those who are so proud to be called ANCOP scholars, now professionals.
At 13, we hope to spread our wings to our neighbouring Oceania countries, leave a legacy so that more of our younger generation who are so blessed in this bountiful land of Australia could also express their gratefulness thru the templates of educating poor children as their gateway from poverty.
At 13, the work has progressed from just being an entity of ANCOP to a bigger leg that will Build the
church of the POOR (BCOP).
And what a way to blow a candle – a very generous donation, an expression of maturity in spirit from a very humble family who wants to be anonymous, was handed over to our ANCOP mancom head, Goody Maquinad by our BCOP director, Bong and Jenny Bernardo. It has been a truly fruitful weekend.
